In 2024 I was selected by the Clark County Arts Commission as Clark County Poet Laureate (2024-2027). My predecessors Armin Tolentino, Gwendolyn Morgan and Christopher Luna continue to inspire and encourage me. It is a great honor to serve this community. As a newcomer to this vast, beautiful area. I am welcomed by many generous friends throughout the diverse cultures and communities of our County.
In workshops and readings, we share vulnerability, culture and connection. I lead a hybrid writing workshop at Cascades Park Community Library. All are invited to “Come as you are” on the third Saturday each month from 11:00-12;00 Pacific time. Writing Workshop.
As Poet Laureate, I celebrate community. Two examples are The Interfaith Coalition of Southwest Washington and Fourth Plain Forward.
I hosted a poetry workshop at Plas Newydd Farm on January 24, 2026.
